Toadette is welcomed to the Prismatic Plains, a rainbow of colourful landscapes! At its start is the Golden Grassland, a gleaming garden of golden goodness. But it seems Bowser and the Koopa Troop have invaded this rainbow region, looking to cause a whole spectrum of strife!

In her daily life, Toadette is a side character, facilitating the parties of other people. But everything changes when she puts on that big ruby-red high heel shoe. She is glamorous, she is fashionable, she is powerful! Anything that opposes her can be crushed underfoot. Now, it’s Toadette’s party!

Pipes run through the jungle, but no one’s bothered to figure out what they’re there for because they fit the aesthetic of the area so well! The green metal blends beautifully with the natural verdure. It’s up to Toadette to get to the bottom of things, but how deep does she really want to dig? A nice little walk through the pipes and the trees sounds nice, too...

Egads! Toadette has landed herself in a sticky situation at the Cobalt Cherry Castle! In this ever-changing environment, she must stay on her toes, swaying on seesaws and pouncing off platforms to dodge the scarlet sludge below!

Just beyond Cobalt Cherry Castle lies Grayscale Gulch, whose deep waters hold nary a drop of colour. Toadette dives in, her vivid pinks standing out against the walls drenched in white and gray. To her relief, however, the wildlife doesn't think her a fashion catastrophe. To resurface unscathed, she'll have to analyse the movements of the gulch's residents and keep her distance from them, lest they reconsider the nature of her humble hues.

Toadette spots a weirdly colourful airship fleet flying above the Prismatic Plains. She sneaks on board, but a distant "Hello" from a conspicuous ball-shaped ship suggests that her presence was expected. It’s a showdown against Lemmy, the rainbow-haired commander of this kaleidoscopic convoy!
