Toadette sets her sights on Roy Koopa, who has taken to the high skies! But who built these strange buildings scattered throughout the clouds, and what purpose do they serve? She barely has any time to wonder about that with all the Mechakoopa missiles flying around–and it seems she's their target!

A town on the border between two dimensions, one living by the never-ending light of day, the other drenched in eternal night... Though it occupies two sides of the same coin, this town is at war with itself, developing ever deadlier weapons for use against the other side. There can be no brokering of peace here; Toadette can only hope to make it out alive.

Two impossibly tall towers serve as the gateway to the upper atmosphere, but Bowser's forces have converted them into war factories! She will have to navigate their deadly traps and defeat Boom-Boom if she hopes to reach the legendary city of gold.

A floating metropolis... Skyscrapers lined with gold... Whoever once called this paradise home, their wealth could not protect them from the swarm of Spike Tops that are now its only living occupants. Luckily for Toadette, the Spike Tops don’t care for coins, so they’re all hers to snatch if she can bring them back to earth without falling to her doom.

What happened to the Beetles of Buzzy Breezeway? Their space in the area’s once-tranquil air has been taken by flying Mechakoopas. This is but one consequence of industrialisation, of the clearing of the region’s trees via giant saw to make way for towering apartment buildings. Will the winged Cheep Cheeps be the next to go? Toadette had better take in what little nature remains here while she can.

Under the cover of a midnight hailstorm, Roy has boarded Toadette’s airship! The storm would have been bad enough, but now Toadette has to hunt down the Koopaling before he either crashes the ship or, even worse, gets away with all of Toadette’s plundered riches.
