Luigi expected the snow and ice of Sorbet Snowfield, but he didn’t expect so much fire! There are as many fireballs as falling icicles. And as if the Fire Piranha Plants weren’t enough to deal with, Bowser’s Koopa Troopa forces only get meaner as Luigi progresses. He finds himself longing for a nice, quiet hotel…

The subway seemed at first to be a safe alternative to walking above ground, but the chill has turned it deadly! The floor is slippery, the roof is spiky, and the connections are so busy. Perhaps walking would have been easier after all.

Dipping below the ice is no reprieve here. There are as many vicious Hammer Bros and Bullet Bills below these chilling waters as there are above.

This ghost house asks Luigi to slide to its depths, but inside is a twisted maze that wants nothing more than to eat him alive. As walls close in and switches block Luigi’s path, he will have to quickly seek out a set of red coins if he wants to escape the bowels of death.

This once wondrous winter workshop is now fraught with danger: munchers line the floors and beetles cling to the ceilings like ninjas, ready to get the drop on anyone passing by. If Luigi makes it through, it will be a holiday miracle.

If Luigi thinks that going inside the castle will save him from the cold, he will soon learn otherwise. The castle is filled with falling ice, forcing him to take it at a slow, steady pace. But his presence does not go unnoticed, and within the freezing waters of the castle’s flooded dungeon, a giant, tentacled monster awakens from its slumber.
