After conquering the overgrown castle of the Walnut Woods, Toad discovers the entrance to the vast, winding Toffee Tunnels. But what was supposed to be a shortcut turns out to be treacherous: King Koopa’s minions are here, too!

These caverns have as much height as depth. Spinning beetles graciously carry Toad deep inside, but it is up to him and his cape skills to see what hides up with the stalactites.

Toad comes across an area of the Tunnels that appears to be extensively mined—and the only way forward is on slippery skull rafts! Luckily for him, a number of handy switches are around to help him jump from raft to raft while avoiding fatal active sawblades and grabbing a shiny coin or two!

What's creepier than a Ghost House? A Ghost House mysteriously appearing in the underground tunnels. With no way around it, the only way for Toad to proceed is through it. Can he find his way out?

As Toad continues his venture through the Toffee Tunnels, he comes across caverns stretching as far as the eye can see. Man-made conveyors of unknown purpose sprawl throughout the cave. Toad dashes ahead, using the conveyors to speed through the quadrant.

As Toad approaches the end of Toffee Tunnels, he encounters a heavily guarded, mole-infested bunker burrowed deep into the ground. Feeling the heat of firebars and the unmistakable boom of Banzai Bills, he wonders if he will ever make it to Confection Crossing.
