The adventure begins for Luigi in a flooded forest filled to the brim with Wiggler-infested trees. Many secrets are hidden under the water and amongst the trees.

Predictably, raindrops continually drip from the canopy above, while Cheep-Eels make the area below a no-go for adventuring heroes. Despite being slowed down by the wet weather, Luigi presses on, using the swinging branches of the Claw-Trees to his advantage, and even meeting a friend along the way!

Baffling Bayou is a puzzling place. It has switches, blocks, and big Bob-ombs encased in stone, complicating Luigi’s journey through the Walnut Woods.

Luigi faces a familiar foe in a familiar setting. Koopas stand guard in this ancient fortress deep in the woods! The overgrown fences are Luigi’s key to conquering this castle.

Luigi’s weight puts the ledges here on a lean, forcing him to stay tight on his toes if he does not want to topple off the teeter-totters to the blue below.

The journey continues through the deepest parts of the Walnut Woods, eventually leading to the gate of an ancient castle. Legends say this castle was one of the first strongholds of Bowser himself, before it was abandoned and claimed by the forest. Now the Wigglers of the woods are being raised and trained here by Lord Wigglefoot, a formidable captain of Bowser's army.
